I have always been fascinated with good storytelling and as a child, told those stories by drawing pictures. As a young woman I decided I had to be “practical” and “make a living” so I studied law and became a litigator so that I could tell my client's stories in the courtroom. As I matured I realized I had my own story to tell and have come back to imagery. This is what launched my painting career. A life changing event for me was the day that my husband, a wonderful photographer, helped me discover my passion for photography by providing me with a camera. Initially I used the camera to record subject matter for my paintings. Now I observe the world through one lens or another, attempting to capture the beauty of any form that engages my senses. I incorporate my photography into many of my paintings and have learned how to “paint” on the computer as well as on the canvas.

I reside in the beautiful Fraser Valley in British Columbia, Canada. I have a wonderful garden which provides me with much of my inspiration. As
frequently as possible I travel to satisfy my thirst for new cultures and images to capture. I cherish life and am thrilled to be able to share my passion with you as well as demonstrate the beauty that I record during my daily journey.
