“The Second My Mind Clears”

This painting is about processing a very big decision which I was doing over the last month. The collage work of the papers with lettering on them represents all the information that I was processing and the way in which they are jumbled on the substrate is illustrative of the intense processing of pros and cons that i could not have stop even if i tried. Then of course there were also periods of calm when I felt I had made my choice and I could live with it. The red, those that was my “ah ha” moments or the big revelations that occurred as a result of entering into the process.

This piece is 36×60 on wood panel. It does not require a frame.
